She graduated in Theoretical Cybernetics from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University, with a doctoral thesis focused on logic. Since graduation, she has been working at the Czech Technical University in Prague—initially at the Institute of Computational Technologies and later at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FEE). Between 1988 and 2016, she was involved in teaching subjects such as Artificial Intelligence and Logic Programming at FEE.
In 1998, she was awarded the title of Full Professor of Technical Cybernetics at the Czech Technical University in Prague (CVUT). From 2005 to 2015, she was responsible for the Master's Study Program in Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. In 2016, she transitioned from FEE to CIIRC CVUT, where she currently serves as the Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Assistive Technology (BEAT) at CIIRC (www.ciirc.cvut.cz).
She is the Chairperson of the Czech Society for Cybernetics and Informatics (www.cski.cz), where she actively supports close collaboration with the international community and promotes the development and adoption of internationally recognized standards for digital literacy (ICDL – International Certificate of Digital Literacy: www.ecdl.cz) and professional codes of conduct.

Sarah Wolf has a background in mathematics and has worked in interdisciplinary research teams ever since her PhD studies at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. In the Berlin Mathematics Research Center MATH+, she is head of a junior research group on “Mathematics for Sustainability Transitions” at Freie Universität Berlin. Her research focus is on agent-based modelling of complex social systems, e.g., around sustainable mobility or green growth, and on embedding such models and their simulations in stakeholder dialogues – with practice experts, citizens, and students - in a Decision Theatre format.

Porie Saikia is a Registered Architect in NY, RIBA Chartered Architect UK, CIOB Chartered Construction Manager, UK. Porie is also the International Ambassador of the CIOB - the world's largest and most influential professional body for construction management and leadership. CIOB has a Royal Charter to promote the science and practice of building and construction for the benefit of society and has been doing so since 1834. Her industry recognition is evidenced by various elected and selected positions as president, board member, governor, trustee and advisor in the design and construction industry globally. Porie has been awarded the FJ Gerstner Medal by CVUT in Prague & Nelson Rockefeller Excelsior Award in New York and has been made Fellow of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). Currently as the Senior Director, Environment, Energy, Sustainability & Industrial Hygiene policies, compliance & initiatives at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York (MTA NY), Porie was responsible for taking forward the vision for sustainability leading its Climate Adaptation program, Carbon Action priorities, Energy Efficiency initiatives, Renewables programs as well as environmental policies, compliance and mandates - with MTA’s trillion-dollar asset and $54b capital program.
